Habits legacy support information
HabitsSupport
For help with Habits, email alex@geckoroad.com. Include your Android device model, Android version, Habits version, what you expected to happen, and what happened instead. Do not email payment-card details, passwords, full purchase tokens, or unrelated sensitive information.
Notifications and reminders
- Confirm notifications are allowed for Habits in Android Settings.
- Check that the habit has reminders enabled and a reminder time selected.
- Review battery-saving, focus, do-not-disturb, and background restrictions.
- Edit and save the reminder again after changing Android notification permission.
Habits schedules reminders locally. The app remains usable if notification permission is denied.
Habits Pro purchases
Purchases must use the same Google Play account that originally subscribed. From the Habits Pro screen, choose Restore Purchases after reinstalling Habits or moving to another Android device.
If purchase access is still missing, include the selectable Purchase support ID shown near the bottom of Habits Settings when you email support. This is an anonymous RevenueCat identifier, not a Habits account.
Local data and deletion
Habits does not use accounts or cloud sync. Delete individual habits from their detail screens, use Settings → Clear all data to remove habit and completion data, or uninstall Habits to remove its local storage. These actions do not cancel a Google Play subscription.
There is no Habits account-deletion form because no Habits account exists. For a privacy request relating to RevenueCat subscription records, email alex@geckoroad.com with the Purchase support ID. Read the Privacy Policy for details.
App is offline or unavailable
Core habit tracking works offline. An internet connection is required to load Habits Pro offerings, purchase a subscription, restore purchases, or refresh subscription status. If those actions fail, confirm Google Play is available and try again later.
